SimpliFried is a website dedicated to making life in your kitchen easier. Not only do we answer the question, “What’s for dinner?” We also help you figure out what to pack for lunch, what to buy at the store, how to improve your cooking skills, gain a better understanding of the history and science of food, and anything and everything that will reduce mealtime stress.
It doesn’t matter if you’re new to cooking or a seasoned professional — SimpliFried has something to offer you. Those of us on staff like to think of ourselves as adventurous cooks. On the weekends, we’re willing to try out new skills, new recipes, new flavors, new styles, and maybe bake a loaf of homemade bread. During the week, however, we’re all about creating delicious, healthy, get-food-on-the-table-before-we-eat-our-arms meals. We like for weekday meals to be good, but as simple as possible without frying our nerves in the process.
About the SimpliFried Team
Erin Doland is Editor-in-Chief of SimpliFried and its sister site Unclutterer.com. Her kitchen is smaller than a walk-in closet, but that doesn’t stop her from putting every inch of it to good use. Her son is allergic to peanuts, so all of her recipes are guaranteed peanut-free. You may have seen her book in stores, an appearance on the Rachael Ray Show, profiled in The New York Times, read her work in national publications like Real Simple Magazine, or heard her on Martha Stewart Living radio.
Matt Fetissoff is a senior staff writer and amateur kitchen alchemist who transforms primarily local ingredients into simple yummy meals. He’s also learned quite a bit about maximizing limited kitchen space by living a little over a year in an RV. He enjoys passing the time thinking up his own one-pot meal recipes and by finding neat ways to use up leftovers.
SimpliFried is an production of the Dancing Mammoth company. Our on staff tech gurus Brian, Matt, Francis, and PJ contribute more than their technological gifts to the production of the site. They routinely produce story ideas and occasionally write posts, in addition to code.
